I have always been fascinated with the bold, iconic graphic style of political posters, slogans and imagery. Probably due to the fact that I grew up in NYC’s Spanish Harlem during the 1970′s. That style was the inspiration for a lot of my designs including this T-shirt!
Behind the message UNITY it says “Fuerza en la Unidad” which means “Strength in Unity”.
The typography is very propaganda-esque. A somewhat fitting combination in today’s climate.
I believe in promoting strength through UNITY, because it should always be We. Not Me.
After seeing the heart wrenching images this past summer of all the animals drenched in oil, we are donating 20% to the National Wildlife Federation in an effort to support the wildlife that was impacted by the oil spill crisis.
